Quality Time

Thank God for weekends! Miguel is really happy to see his daddy and mommy home. My baby is getting big. He looks different now from the last picture I posted in my previous entry. I took this picture after I gave Miggi a bath this morning.

Broken Heart

I couldn't imagine being a stay at home mom..... BEFORE. But After I gave birth all I want is to be with my baby and take care of him myself. I want to see him grow up before my very own eyes.

Should I quit my job? My husband gave me the freedom to decide.

I chose to work again. Even if it pains me everyday leaving my baby with his yaya I can't afford to lose my job for now. My baby will understand mommy when he grows up.

I am now a person with a broken heart.

One Magical Morning

At exactly 5:58am, September 3, 2007 my baby smiled at me! Woohoo! The long wait is over.

Busy Days.....

I've been busy this past few days... buying stuff for my baby for his baptism on Sunday, Sept. 9. I also bought some things for myself.. how I missed shopping!!!! I could actually stay in a shopping mall the whole day but I can't because Miguel is waiting for me. I can't leave him for a very long time! :( Sad to say I have to go back to work on Sept. 25.. I think I'm gonna cry when that day comes.

Anyway, I asked my sister to design the invitation of Miguel's baptism. She made 2 designs.. francis & I chose the 1st one

I'm glad I insisted on changing the formula milk of Miguel to HA... his rashes slowly disappeared. We also changed his soap from Cetaphil to Lactacyd blue. His skin reacted positively to Lactacyd. Now, my baby is rash-free!!! yipeee!!!

Miguel's 1st time @ THE MALL

@ 1 month and exactly 2 weeks we brought Miguel to the mall. It was also his 1st time to use his stroller. He loved it soo much he slept the whole time we were window shopping. He only woke up because he was hungry so we decided to eat na rin. He did not sleep after that because he enjoyed the bright lights around him. I couldn't stop myself from taking pictures of him even we were were at the escalator.

Rashes, Rashes GO AWAY!

My poor baby.. :( He has rashes all over his face and neck. We showed it to his pedia and she told us that there's nothing to be alarmed coz rashes are common to newborn babies. Mawawala din naman daw yun. Hindi na nga kaputian anak ko namula pa because of his rashes. :(

Play Time

My baby enjoys playing at his Activity Gym. If he's not in a good mood I just put him there and he'll stop crying.

But if he's really in a baaaad mood, he cries without any reason.. and he cries really loud!! He's full naman and nagburp na, we just changed his diapers, we sing and talk to him but he doesn't want to stop. :(

I can't wait until I see him respond to my smile. Nakalagay sa book, it will happen daw around 10 to 12 weeks.. naiinip na si mommy...

Happy 1st Month Miggi!

Francis and I can't get enough of our little boy. He is a gift from God. He'll always be our inspiration.

Miguel's pedia gave him vitamins so that he'll gain weight fast. He's still small but slowly he's gaining weight already. Francis bought a cake to celebrate the 1st month of Miggi.

I was scheduled to give birth on July 20 via CS coz I had 2 miscarriages already..my OB doesn't want to risk my life and the baby coz there might have complications if I'll have a normal delivery...

BUT.. during our check up last July 29 when my OB checked the heartbeat of miguel she noticed that his heart rate was fluctuating between 108-120.. the normal rate is 120-130. she told me to eat lunch first bka gutom lang daw si baby.. when she checked the heart rate again ganun pa din.. to make the story short.. bumaba hangang 98 yung heart rate ni miguel.. my OB decided to open me up. I was really scared and super worried that Miguel won't be ok.. I coudn't stop crying... hangang lagyan ako ng anesthesia mega iyak pa din ako..

I gave birth June 30, 1:30am.. may pneumonia pala si miguel.. sabi nila he got it from me.. may ganun daw ksi cases na maternal.. yun ang reason why he was having a hard time breathing.. 35 weeks lang ako kaya premature si miguel so he had to be in the incubator for 3 days.. I saw him 2 days after I gave birth and I got to hold him after 3 days! what was even worst he stayed in the nursery for 1 weeks ksi nga he was under medication.. it was the worst event in my life! I cry every time I think if him..

hay... .. prayers are really powerful... we are glad that he is very strong and healthy now.. they call him precious baby in the nursery coz they learned about my poor pregnancy history.. Miguel means God like daw.. nice no? :)

On my 8th month

33 weeks and counting... on July 20, 2007 I'll be giving birth to our prince via C-section. I'm sooo excited I wanna pull the days until THE DAY that I will see Baby Miguel... the anticipation.. the long wait will be over..

I feel really heavy now.. my back aches more frequently.. swollen hands and feet... good thing my nose did not.. I gained 40 pounds already from my last check up and I still expect to gain 6 more pounds until I give birth... heavy.. really heavy.. even I can't believe it.. one of the JOYS of pregnancy he he... but I'm happy to say that I have no stretch marks (yet!)..

I can't believe it! I had the best buy ever this year!

A brush set from Smashbox! The original price is $62 and it was 50% off!!! Cool! The saleslady told me that this brush set is almost 6,000 pesos in Rustans. I saved a lot talaga.

I fell in love with Loreal's Glam Shine 100 when I tried it on! It's a lipstick and gloss in one.... very J. LOish... nude with a hint of shine (but not like the "I-just-ate-Lechon" shine) he he he :)

Anothe good find: Blue eyeliner- opens up the eyes because of its light and shimmery effect.

FHM Girls

To beat the heat of the summer, together with my officemates, we decided to spend our friday night swimming at my parent's house. We ordered Yelow Cab pizza and KFC bucket meal. YUM!!! Pregy as I am (on my 27th week), I still wore 2-piece swimsuit even if half of my boobs can be seen. What can I do? My boobs are soo enormous! and still getting bigger and bigger... ugghh!!!

Summer Update

I'm on my 23rd week now (six months next week) ... and gaining weight fast!!! I'm not even super takaw but everytime I see myself in the mirror I feel (and I know) that I am soo big!! I wonder why??? Maybe because of the vitamins I take or I'm not just used seeing myself pregnant. Whatever it is I'm still proud because I am indeed pregnant and our baby is growing inside me. :)

It was kinda like a birthday outing because I turned a year older on April 3. Francis surprised me with a cake (he asked his brother to buy it for him) and gave it to me when we arrived there. Nightmare!!!

It was 12AM on a Monday when I had my 1st trip at the Comfort Room. My stomach didn't feel right and I passed out super watery pupu... and it continued every after 30 mins to 1 hour. I had 9 trips to the CR and it was just 10AM. I vomitted twice as well. Francis decided to take me to the hospital because I might get dehydrated and it might affect our baby. I had an ultrasound again to make sure baby is ok. Francis and I spent the night in the hospital because I underwent some blood test and my water in the body was monitored. Thanks to my ever reliable nurse, my husband, because he never left my side and he made sure I got everything I need and want. While I sleep comfortably on the bed, he slept at the small sofa and tried to fit his body on it. Once he move, he might fall. I can't help but watch him sleep and admire him for his patience. I feel so lucky to have him and I thank God everyday for giving me a great husband.

The oyters I ate in Oyster Boy were the culprit! No more oyters for me while I'm pregnant!

Diva Concert

Last Saturday, I got the chance to watch the concert of Lani Misalucha at Araneta. Thanks to the cousin of my husband for the free ticket. We were just few steps away from the stage. I must say that Lani is a real Diva! She has a very powerful voice and not even the concert queen or the Asia's Songbird can sing that well.

After the concert, we stayed in Oyster Boy. While Francis & the rest were drinking beer I was drinking water and savoring the oh-soo delish baked oysters. Oh, not to forget the Blizzard I ordered in Dairy Queen. I didn't care whether I was eating the right food as long as I was enjoying myself eat anything I want.

We got home past 2am already.

I'll be on my fifth month next week. My tummy is still small (daw) but my OB said the baby is big.. kakatuwa!!! We're still thinking of a name for him.. Abraham.. Miguel.. Matthew... Still deciding....
